CM Punk is back in WWE.

Summary:

I give my thoughts on the return and the promo on raw. It was great to see Punk return to the wwe. It was shocking but a little expected.

CM Punk Came Back at Survivor Series

This past Saturday was Survivor Series. The main event had Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton. VS The Judgement Day with new member JD Mcdonagh and Drew McIntyre. The match was good. Damien and Drew Mcintyre butted heads which is what made it interesting on how long until Drew hits him the claymore kick. The Judgement Day team had the upper hand at times and the same with team Cody. But I thought maybe when Rhea came out, Damien was going to cash in. But when you didn't know if he was going to show up. Well guess who? Randy Orton came back. You can definitely say out of nowhere. The crowd was into it. He looked great and it was great to see Randy Orton come back. I liked the finish and Randy looked like he was finally back after being gone for 18 months. Randy hit a great rko on Jd as well several rkos on the other Judgement Day members. After that then Cody hit the crossroads and Damien got pinned. Then Cody got the win. My guess is Damien might be getting kicked out of Judgment Day soon. The show looked like it was over, and the end credits were on.

Then a surprise music hit. Well, it was CM Punk. I was folding clothes at the time. Then when I heard it, I was like no way. Then I went to look at the tv, and the crowd was into it. I was like wow, he's back. I'm not the biggest CM Punk fan but I was happy to see him return. The crowd loved that he came back. He got a great reaction. He definitely is like Bret Hart is to Canada, CM Punk is to Chicago. He came out hugged some people. Then the show went off the air. The cameras stayed on him the whole time. But I hate to say it but definitely took away from Randy return and Cody winning a match in war games. A match his father came up with. So, if Punk was going to return at Survivor Series, I think maybe wwe should have waited for Orton to return, and have Orton return the next night at raw, or a little down the road on an episode of Raw.

I saw the clip online and heard Seth Rollins comments about CM Punk in the past. But it looked like Seth wanted to go up there and attack CM Punk. Maybe even curb stomp him. But officials, Cody, and others held him back. He did act angry and flip a few birds. This is some good stuff that good definitely will make a good match at Mania next year in Philadelphia. But is it a work? Of course, it is. But are we hooked because of the story? Yep, we are! That's all that matter to wwe and both wrestlers.

I think Triple H brought him back because he is a star. I think he knew Chicago would love it and be a great get if thing is able to meet on a working relationship between wwe and Punk as in to bring CM Punk back. Also, he is always being talked about because Punk does stuff that gets people attention. But how long can he last? I guess as long as he gets along with everyone and based on reports the Lockeroom has been getting a long great. Punk even got to see Kofi again.

CM Punk Back On Raw and The Promo

CM Punk music hit on Raw. The reaction was a little mixed. I think he is loved in Chicago. But CM Punk did get the crowd to chant CM Punk. Punk was emotional and said he appreciated the chants. Even when he didn't want to remember that part of his career. He said that he had to go away for his own reasons. He mentions Paul Heyman and Dusty Rhodes. He said he's back. The guys are very afraid of him. Then that was it. The show went off the air. The promo wasn't bad but definitely wasn't the best promo or the pipe bomb promo. That pipe bomb promo was something else at the time and was his best promo. But he was very emotional, and we will see in time how long he last and what type of promos he will cut. I doubt CM Punk will mention aew because of the NDA, and I think that why Tony Khan can't comment on it. But this was a great return and am interested in seeing what Punk will do in WWE.
