What do you do?
You can do a number of things when doing studies. This can be reviewing a website, zoom or video chat, or doing a task to give some information but nothing personal. You could also do a study in a group or focus group, as well as in person depending on the study. Some studies even offer a diary study for a period of time.
Refer a friend
Yes, you can but they don't have a referral program at the moment. So, you will not get paid anything.
Deals and offers
Check this part on the website, but at times don't feel bad because like now, nothing could be available.
Can you boost your profile?
You can boost your profile by getting reviews, doing a video or voice over of what you do or why you choose me? Also, getting reviews, or testing your computer quality. You can add your career information or LinkedIn profile link.
Studies, Notifications, and Payment for study
Studies
The studies you can do are depending on what is available in finding opportunities. You will see the topic, and study. As well as the payment amount and time length. You go to the study and click on register now, then fill it out by answering everything the study asks, then click submit. If it's a task, you may get accepted right away. Which then complete the task, and you will get paid within 3 days. If it's a study, after you apply enter available time. Then the study will go to pending. If you are accepted, you will get a text, email, and message through askable, and this will be in upcoming studies. After the study is completed, the person doing the study will confirm you attended the study. Then you will get paid depending on your payment method in payment preferences. To see past studies, look at past sessions. You will see study, date, and amount. If you have any issues with payments or studies, contact support by going to help, and filling out form or clicking message pop up.
Notifications?
Yes, turn them on so you know when someone accepts or responds to a message. Also, so you know when to attend and when you get paid. You will also get notified for future studies you may be able to apply for.
Research Companies and Demo
Research Companies?
This site does allow research companies to be able sign up but is not free to sign up. The cost is depending on credits. The cost for you the researcher to post your project is 1.45 as you go or 0.90 for bulk, and askable will pay the client after the study is over unless you decline for whatever reason. But there's a catch to that as in you pay askable, and how you pay is by credits and the amount of that, then askable will pay the participant. Also, the setup fee is a 5-credit fee. Also, you choose which person is best for you. You can also recruit for clients for a project. Which the client pays to sign up and pays the research company if that option is used. So, I would recommend unless you are a company sign up as a participant which is free. You can message each person who applies with more questions if you have any questions. Could run into scams? Anything is possible, and if you do reach out to support. Support will respond as soon as possible. Same for companies and participants.
Book a demo?
You can by going to demo, submit your business information, and click submit. Then someone will reach out to you. You will get better clients or people to participate in your study, insight, and more. You will learn about that cost for your business. But if you are a research company, you definitely want to look into the demo and see how askable can help you.
My Experiences?
I have been using askable with June and can say I like askable. The site is alright to use. I apply to a lot but don't always get chosen. I have gotten paid for every study I have completed. I did have one issue, as I did get choose for a VPN study, which I use something free on my phone, so I went to the study, and after 15 minutes I was finished, and the study was supposed to be 90 minutes. I was declined, and not paid. I was really frustrated. I reached out to support, and the study was supposed to be a 35$ study, but askable paid me like 19$. So, I was fine with that. So, I would recommend askable, and you give them a chance when you are ready, and did I tell you, but I know it's free to sign up.
